A Fond Farewell and New Friends.....

As in the past three summers, David and I have ventured to the other side of the Sierra's to the small town of Minden, just south of Carson City, for Emmaus events. This year I managed to finally visit "Down on the Farm" scrapbook and gift store, and it was their last day open. The owner there is very nice, and is closing to spend more time with her family. It's not easy being a store owner. The misconception is that if you are a scrapbook store owner you'll have all this time, and all these resources to scrap... NOPE! It's hard. My hats off to all the LSS owner's, thank you for helping support my "therapy"... your service to the scrapbook community is priceless.
