Blog challenge for STM... the camera

I like a camera I can get my hands on, right now I've got 2, a digital Fujifulm 3000, it's about two years old, gets basic quick shots, but it's my 30 year old refurbished Canon AT-1 that's takes the best shots in our house... it's a film camera that my husband's had since he was in the Navy, and it's his baby. I still have yet to figure out all the MANUAL settings. I am so spoiled when it comes to the point and click. I would like a Canon digital with SLR... just don't know whether I want the Rebel or not. I just get nervous sending my film out to be processed, and no one in my area does scrapbook worthy (in my hoity toity opinion, I know, I'm a camera and film snob) development.
